Supercharge
Privacy policy
Effective 7 September 2026.
The short version
Supercharge collects nothing about you and sends nothing to Syntyaxis. There is no account and no server holding your data. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
What stays on your device
Your settings, your per-site choices, your allowlist, your saved highlights, and the interruption counter are stored on your device. They are not sent to Syntyaxis and Syntyaxis cannot read them.
iCloud
Supercharge does not sync anything today. If a future update adds sync, it will use your own iCloud account, it will be optional, and this policy will be updated before it ships. Data in your iCloud account is held by Apple under Apple's terms, not by Syntyaxis.
No network requests
Supercharge makes no network requests of its own. The rules it uses to clean pages and block ads ship inside the app, and they change only when you install an app update.
Ad blocking rules
The ad blocking rules come from EasyList and, optionally, one regional supplement for your country; all of them are bundled inside the app (the rules we ship). Blocking is done by Safari's content blocker on your device. No list of the sites you visit is created, kept or sent anywhere.
The Selection bar
When you tap an action in the Selection bar — search, open in Maps, call, message, track a parcel, look up a flight — the selected text is handed to the app or service you have chosen, in a new tab or in that app. That only happens when you tap. Whatever you send that way is then covered by that service's own privacy policy, not this one.
On-device AI
The explain, key points, ask and reply actions use Apple Intelligence on your device. The selected text is processed on the device and is not sent to Syntyaxis or to any third party by Supercharge.
Children
Supercharge is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes.
