Ad-blocking rules
Supercharge blocks ads with Safari’s content-blocker API. The rules come from EasyList and its regional supplements, converted from Adblock Plus syntax into Safari content-blocker JSON at build time.
Those converted files are adaptations of the source lists, so they are published here under CC BY-SA 3.0, exactly as bundled in the app. Ad blocking rules are from the EasyList authors, easylist.to, CC BY-SA 3.0.
The base list always applies. One regional pack is added on top when the reader’s device region has one, or when they pick countries themselves. meta.json carries the same table in machine-readable form. Generated 2026-09-08.
EasyList and its supplements are dual licensed GPLv3 / CC BY-SA 3.0; Syntyaxis elects CC BY-SA 3.0. The converter (AdGuard SafariConverterLib, GPLv3) is a build-time tool and is not distributed with the app.
